In Riverdale at 682 Queen Street East sits a charming little espresso boutique, The Dark Horse Espresso Bar. A great place to grab specialty coffee’s and bake goods in the East End. The space features a beautiful interior which features a massive communal wooden antique work table as well as several private spaces to read away, work away and text away while enjoying a cup of java.
I sat on a park bench outside for the first time this year. Today, on St Patty’s day, marked the first time this year that I have been able to enjoy a “patio culture.” Torontonians love to sit and enjoy the cusp of our streets. I flirted with the notion of Spring today while sipping on my cappaccino and am thrilled to continue indulging in this street side novelty in the coming weeks. The people of Toronto have had enough of winter. I welcome spring with open arms!
#57 restaurant reviewed in Ontario since moving to Toronto in 2010.
