Pierre Sparr Brut Cremant d’Alsace Reserve

This delicious bubbly is produced by our friends at Pierre Sparr in Alsace, the Germanic region of France. Alsace runs along the Rhine River with the border of Germany to the east and Switzerland to the south. Favorite cities include Strasbourg, Colmar and Mulhouse. I once traveled in one day to Basel Switzerland, Feiburg Germany (in the Black Forest) and Mulhouse. An amazing corner of the world with the most delightful gastronomic history.

This bottle expresses a subtle bouquet, pale gold green color, crisp with fine bubbles. The nose is powerful. Notes of peach, golden apple and hazelnut are perceptive. The taste is pleasant, with a refreshing acidity and a dry and clean finish.

The companies French only website reads:

“Bouquet subtil aux arômes de pêche blanche.” ‘

Need I say more? Peut-être…J’adore!
