Review: Pho Phuong, Toronto

Torontonians in the middle of March are always hopeful that Spring has arrived. We had receieved a few lovely warm and sunny days the past few days. Our collective hopes were squandered by a vicious and unrelenting snow storm which dumped itself onto El Toro.

Meaghan and I were headed to the theater in the Dundas West hood after work and stumbled into Pho Phuong Vietnamese restaurant (1603 Dundas West) happy to be out of the cold. We shared a plate of fried spring rolls. Meaghan enjoyed her favorite rare beef pho and I devoured my bowl of vermicelli and lemongrass beef. Sips of hot tea allowed us to quickly thaw and defrazzle after such an overwhelming winters day. Spring please shower us with your love soon!
