Review: Corned Beef House, Toronto

Sometimes I am so alarmed to hear about a “tried and true” restaurant that I have never even heard of. I try to keep my ears to the the ground but I guess sometimes the little guys who have been around for years get overlooked.

I was so pleased when I walked into Corned Beef House at John and Adelaide for lunch. This speciality sandwich shop serves  traditional Montreal Smoked Meat, Corned Beef, Beef Brisket, Smoked Turkey and Reuben in hilarious sizes: Huge (7oz), Gigantic (10oz) and Colossal (16oz).

I ordered a Reuben Platter (combo) on light rye bread served with crispy french fries, coleslaw and Kosher Dill Pickle. This is by far the best Reuben I have ever had. Juicy meat loving heaven. The staff are friendly, plenty of local brews are on tap and its close to work! Yes please!
