Fancy Franks Hot Dog Restaurant in Toronto

It was a lovely summer day when I found myself peddling along College Street bound for Fancy Franks. The restaurant sits on the corner of Major Street and features a fantastic mural which stretches from the sidewalk to the sky.

Fancy Franks Toronto’s interior features stool style seating and a large blackboard that showcases their gourmet hotdog, poutine, milkshake and sugared donut centric menu offering.

With the managers recommendation we sampled three Fancy Franks creations made with 100% Canadian Beef. I opted to slurp a chocolate milkshake while chowing down on three of the restaurants signature Franks.

The Frankaphone (covered in cheese) is a decadent pleasure but top nods go to Franks Got Seoul a Korean inspired offering with a perfect harmony of flavours and textures. We finished off our meal with piping hot mini donuts topped with lemon curd, strawberry and dusted in cinnamon sugar.

Hopping back on my bike and rubbing my belly it was nice to know one can find a wee carnival 365 days a year sitting on College Street.
